Good therapy is good conversation. My orientation is client-centred style relying on authenticity, accurate empathy and unconditional positive regard in sessions.
Technically, I’m trained in Solution-focused Brief Therapy, CBT, DBT and IPT though lately, I have become interested in psychodynamic psychotherapy with a narrative focus.
These various approaches to the human condition allow me to come at situations from several different viewpoints that are effective in dealing with diverse, multicultural populations, issues of meaning and general challenges in daily life from substance misuse to anxiety, depression to obsession and trauma.
