Barry Burrows, MC RP CCC-S, is an experienced therapist trained in occupational and counselling psychology. He is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and holds the designation Canada Certified Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists, and the National Guild of Hypnotists.
Barry’s supportive and engaging style encourages a strong working relationship with clients as they deal with challenges in life transitions, relationships, meaning and purpose and workplace concerns. He also works with clients having difficulties with sexual issues, habit change, challenges with substances and self-concept, and those experiencing excessive stress in their lives.
Parenting skills training, communications, assertiveness, anger and conflict resolution are all within Barry’s areas of competency. In addition, he has over 20 years experience in organizational settings involving change initiatives, group decision-making, training and development, and executive coaching.
Barry is an avid Nature lover, martial artist and practitioner of Yang style Tai Chi who incorporates mindfulness and meditative interventions in his practice.
